James is one of the most experienced occupational psychologists and leadership assessment specialists in his field. He is an affiliate member of the British Psychological Society, due to his expertise in applying psychology to business. He honed his leadership assessment and consulting capabilities at Russell Reynolds Associates in London, and before that, as a consultant with a boutique search firm.

James now advises individuals and teams on matters including succession, selection, development and organisational design. He has consulted across a multitude of sectors including the Civil Service, the British Army and some of the largest financial, consumer, technology and industrial firms.
